A) Initial Consultation and Project Intake
A complimentary initial consultation takes about an hour, and can be done in person or over the phone. There is no obligation or cost for this free consultation.
Together we define your current mode of operation as well as your vision for the future, goals, project scope, prioritization, and next steps. At the end, you’ll be provided with a comprehensive proposal for your own personal Zebra Quest™ project, which outlines the complete scope of recommendations, identifies responsibilities and timelines to achieve your project goals, and includes estimated fees.
Notes from this initial consultation and project intake session enable us to get the ball in play quickly for your Hamilton graphic designer, copywriter and web developer. Your project coordinator will provide support and guidance throughout your project.
B) Marketing & Writing Project Phases
The following project phases are based on design and/or writing projects and identify the appropriate steps involved for each.
Phase 1: Graphic Design Mock-up and/or Content Draft
Your graphic designer will produce your first mock-up, a visual/graphic representation of what your project will “look and feel” like.
Your copywriter will provide you with a first draft of the written content for your project. If you are writing your own content, now is the time to get started! This is also the time to arrange for the appropriate images (pictures) you want on your website or print material.
Phase 2: Graphic Design Mock-up & Content Revision
Review the graphic design mock-up, and discuss with your project coordinator your likes/dislikes of the various components. We want to get the “look and feel” just right!
Read the content draft and let your copywriter know what’s working for you, and what’s not.
Your engagement is important in this critical and what is typically the longest, phase for your project. Once we’ve got your approval we will send your final mock-up and content to your web developer and/or printer.
Phase 3: Project Build
Your project is now in the construction phase. A web developer will build your requested web project (website, e-newsletter, etc.) and code the site to meet your requirements in terms of functionality and appearance (final mock-up). Final approved written content and images are inserted into the website.

C) Project Launch!
You will be asked to give your final approval before we launch your website or send a digital version of your print project to the printer, and once we have that, your project is ready to be released to the world.
If this is a new website or website re-design, we can provide Hamilton web hosting for you or provide the necessary information to your website hosting company to ensure it launches smoothly.
For print collateral, we provide you with a digital/soft copy and can send it directly to a printer if desired.
Let your friends and family know about your new project launch, in addition to alerting folks on available social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.) and other media. If you have a new website, updating the address in your print materials and signage, as well as ensuring all online directories are updated, will help ensure it’s successful launch.
Congratulations! We’re happy that your personal Zebra Quest™ has been achieved this time with some help from The Write Imprint “Distinctive Communications & Design”.
